Malcolm Elliott Davidson – 2017

Malcolm “Mack” Elliott Davidson, 78 of Wolfville passed away January 29, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Wolfville, he was the son of the late Rodney and Vera (Coldwell) Davidson.
Mack had a love for fishing and hunting. You could also find him in the backyard tinkering on old cars. He loved putting in a large garden every year and raising pigs to provide for his wife and kids. He took so much pride in having a nice-looking yard and wasn’t afraid of the hard work that he put into it.
In his younger years, he enjoyed family corn boils and get togethers where he would pick up his guitar to play and sing with his brother, Angus. Over the years, as his health deteriorated, he turned to watching many different shows on television; crime shows soon became his favorite to watch.
Mack will be missed by all who knew him, but he will be especially missed by his family that loved him dearly.
Mack is survived by his wife Marie Louise (Butler) Davidson, who was the love of his life; brother Angus (Bessie) Davidson of Wolfville; sons Laurie Davidson of Saskatchewan; John (Christine) Sweet of Windsor; Malcolm “Terry” (Phyllis) Davidson of Gaspereau; Richard “Ricky” (Tina) of Kingston; daughters Nancy Davidson of Port Williams; Karen (James) Barry of Moosomin, Saskatchewan; Michelle (Donald “Donnie” Arnburg) Johnstone of New Minas; daughter-in-law Laura; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; brothers Lormer; Lawrence; Gordon; Murray; Maynard; Harlen; Vernon “Doug”; sisters Blanche MacPhee; Christine Smith; step-son Steven Barnaby; son Lewellyn “Louie” Davidson; son-in-law Joseph “Joey” Johnstone; grandsons Jesse Davidson and Mason Davidson.
