Malcolm A. Bell
1927-2017
Malcolm “Mac” Audrey Bell of Stickney passed away on
Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville.
He was born April 8, 1927 and was the son of the late Samuel W. and
Eva (Drake) Bell. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Nancy
(Chase) Bell; second wife, Phyllis (Edgar) Bell; 1 son, Danny Bell;
infant sister, Maureen; step daughter, Susan Adams.
Malcolm was a member of the Carleton Lodge # 35 for 62 years and also
a member of the New Brunswick Shrine. He enjoyed assembling model
airplanes and spending time at the cottage on Miramichi Lake.
He is survived by his 3 sons, Sammy Bell (Winnifred), Scotty Bell
(Martha) and special son, David; 6 grandchildren, Samantha Rees, Scott
Bell (Christa), James Bell (Sarina), Kristan Bell Downey (John), Nancy
Butler (Michael), Brady Bell (Laura); 13 great grandchildren, his
sister, Dawn Bell-Logan; daughter in law, Ellen Bell; 2 step children,
Ray Clarke (Maureen) and Debbie Kinney (Brian); 6 step grandchildren,
Nancy Proft (Wes), Sherry Turner (Kevin), Frankie Greene (Denise),
Selena LeClair (Andy), Julie White (Jamie), Glen Kinney (Janessa); 12
step great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and
extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 7-9
pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 2:00
pm from Faith Memorial United Church. Rev. Susan Estabrooks will
officiate. The interment will be in the Hunter Cemetery. Donations
made to the Hunter Cemetery, Faith Memorial United Church or the
Shriner’s Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
