It is with great sadness that the family of the late Madeline Kendall, age 93, of Baie Verte, and formerly of Ramea, NL, announce her passing at Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, November 9th, 2017.
Predeceased by her husband – Roland Kendall; son – Edgar Kendall; parents – Eugene and Hilda Ridgley; sisters – Pearl Billard (Samuel) and Eliza Sibley (Albert); brother – Eugene Ridgley; nephew – Hubert Sibley.
Left with fond and loving memories are her three daughters – Lorraine Parsons (Rev. Clayton), Corner Brook, NL, Emily Fudge (Jesse), Cambridge, ON and Chloe Giles (Dean), Baie Verte, NL; son – Dr. Victor Kendall (Bessie), St. John’s, NL; daughter-in-law – Myrtle Kendall, Sandyville, NL; grandchildren – Dr. Heather Fudge (Brian), Hamilton, ON, Christopher Fudge (Sandra), Cambridge, ON, Bridget Power (Andre), Corner Brook, NL, Stephanie Ripley (Carl), Moncton, NB, Michael Kendall (Pierette), Dartmouth, NS and Evan Giles, St. John’s, NL; great-grandchildren – David, Emilyn, Rosalie, Kendall, Nathan, Andrew, Matthew, Claire and Olivia; sisters – Lucy Purchase, Stephenville, NL and Joan Humber (Walter), Corner Brook, NL; brother – Hubert Ridgley (Victoria), Harbour Breton, NL; many nieces, nephews, and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Public visitation took place from Wimbleton’s Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
Reverend Charlene Laing conducted the funeral service from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2 pm. Interment followed at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Baie Verte, NL A0K 1B0.
