Obituary of Madeleine Kempt
KEMPT, Madeleine Hope (Davidson) – Passed away peacefully at Fairhaven, February 1, 2017 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Kempt and daughter of the late Stewart and Alice Davidson. Dearly loved mother of Susan Livings (Tom), John (Linda), Bob (Elaine), Margaret Burrett (Philip), Marty (Karen), and Tom (Kim). A very special grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Archie Davidson (Barb), Phyllis McLeod (late Malcolm), and the late Eileen Abrams (late Raymond) and sister-in-law to the late Phyllis Mackness (late Jack). She will be remembered for her kind and caring nature. Her strong faith helped her along the bumpy road of life. We have learned much from this remarkable woman and she will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Keene United Church, 30 North Street, Keene, on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 6 pm with visiting two hours prior, at church, from 4-6 pm. Reverend Nancy Wilson officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Keene United Church.
