On Wednesday, January 4, 2017 Mabel Beck passed away in the Mannville Care Centre at the age of 84 years. She will be deeply missed by her children Vivian Pengelly of Islay, AB, Phyllis (Mike) Ortynski of Cranbrook, B.C., Monte (Debbie) Beck of Islay, AB; Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; Brother George Hilton of Vermilion, AB; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

In keeping with Mabel’s wishes cremation has taken place at Creech’s Crematorium in Vermilion and no service will be held.
If so desired donations in memory of Mabel may be made to Islay Cemetery Fund or STARS.
