Passed peacefully at the age of 95 with Lou and Di at her side. Beloved daughter of the late Gregoire and Marie (nee Mailleux). Loving mother to her two nieces Lou-Anne Drouin (Bernie) and Dianne Vanasse (Gord). Predeceased by brothers Hector, Camille, Adelard, Telesphore, Roland, Edgar and sisters Aurore Matton, Loretta Pare, Stella Beneteau and Yvonne Tessier. Loving grandmother to grand-nieces and grand-nephews Julie Lampron (Todd), Ryan Brenner (Katie), Dedra Shier (Greg), and Brandon Vanasse (Naomi). She was a special great-grandmother to 9 great-grand nieces and great-grand nephews. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the staff on the second floor at Leamington Hospital for their great care.
Visitation will be held at Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St. Belle River, N0R1A0, 519-728-1500) on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 2-5 & 7-9 with prayers at 8:30pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 24 from 1:30 – 2:30 with the Funeral Service held at 2:30 at Melady Funeral Home.
If desired, donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor and Essex County.
