Mabel “Duddie” Magee
1929-2017
It is with great sadness the family of Mabel
“Duddie” (McDonald) Magee, wife of the late Michael
Magee, announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on
Monday, January 9, 2017. Born in Saint John on May 24, 1929 she was a
daughter of the late Calvin and Nora (Landry) McDonald.
Duddie is survived by many nieces and nephews and was
predeceased by her husband, parents, and siblings: Murray and James
McDonald and Rose McKenzie. She was devoted to her family and had a
passion for horse racing.
The family would like to thank everyone who has met and
helped Duddie along the way.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation
on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service
will be held in Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, January 13, 2017
at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery at a later
date. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Duddie may be made
to A Living Memorial.
