It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved father on April 9th after a brief illness at Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Veteran’s Hospital. Pre-deceased by his first wife Daisy, his second wife Ruby and his brother Andy, he leaves to mourn his adoring daughter Jennifer, his beloved sister Noreen and many nieces and nephews. Dad served his country in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) as a radio operator during WWII then came home to have a long career with the Department of Transport.
Visitation will be held at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca 514-639-1511) on Monday, April 17 from 2 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 34, 34th Avenue, Lachine on Tuesday, April 18 at 11 am.
To the staff of T-4, to Tom and the physiotherapy department, Denise, Karin, Claudette, Brian, Ron and the entire volunteer staff of Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Veteran’s Hospital, you will forever have my heartfelt gratitude.
