Dad did it his way; during a round of golf he suffered a stroke and passed peacefully at the Lakeshore General Hospital on Friday August 25th at the age of 91.
Dad has waited patiently for the last 4 years to be reunited with his beloved wife of 63 years, Anna. Dad was predeceased by his brother Ronnie and his sister Barbara.
Dad is survived by his children, David (Carole Randle) and Donna Wilkie (Mark), his grandchildren, Jordan, Kyle, Scott, Jessica and his step grandchildren Tyler and Cassandra.
Dad retired as Vice-President of Canadair/Bombardier in 1989 and enjoyed a long and active retirement travelling to many different countries and spent his spare time with his golf buddies as a long time member of The Royal Montreal Golf Club. Special thanks to these friends, Denzel and staff who were with him on his final round.
Visitation will take place at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval (514-631-1511, www.jjcardinal.ca) on Friday September 1st from 14h to 15h30, followed by the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care and/or Lakeshore General Hospital would be appreciated.
