Shannon Darrell Lynds, 52, of Island East River, formerly of Wentworth, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at his home.
Born in Cape Breton, he is a son of Paulette Croft, Wallace and Dennis Lynds (Vicki), Wentworth.
Shannon was employed at 3 D Auto, Stellarton, and a former employee of Natural Resources in Oxford. He loved sport fishing, hunting, and enjoyed camping. He was involved in Karate, earning a 2nd degree black belt. Most of all, Shannon enjoyed his family, especially seeing his grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Cathy (Vint); son Josh, Amherst; daughter Malorey, Calgary; step-sons Michael, Nathan, Devon and David Buell; 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Alanna; sisters Sherry, Wallace and Amber, Truro.
His family will receive visitors on Saturday from 12:30-1:45 at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Eagles Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Wheeler officiating.
