Obituary for Luella Lofthouse
Luella Marion Lofthouse
Luella Marion Heise Lofthouse went home to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 102, at Parkview Home in Stouffville on Friday December 2, 2016. Luella was born on December 7, 1913 to William and Ida (Sider) Heise at Victoria Square ON. After grade school she attended Ontario Bible College in Toronto, Niagara Christian College in Fort Erie ON, then on to Messiah College in Pennsylvania. She trained and worked as an occupational therapist for several years. Luella was involved in ministry at the Houghton, Concord and Welland missions. In 1968 she was married to Roger Lofthouse of Nanticoke ON. In 1986 after the passing of her husband she moved to Parkview Village along with her sister, Marjorie. Luella was known for her strong faith in the Lord and support of missions, book reading, especially bible study and being active in church work, her fine quilt making, attending to exceptional flower and vegetable gardening. She will be sadly missed by her sister Marjorie Heise. She was sister to the late Edger, Milton, Orville, Paul, Arthur and Carl Heise. She was stepmother to Alvin and the late Keith Lofthouse. Step grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Lillian Heise, Katie Heise, and Shirley Heise. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Heise Hill BIC Church, 11760 Woodbine Ave., Gormley, ON, on Tuesday December 6,2016 from 10 AM to 11 AM, followed with a service of celebration of Luella’s life on Tuesday December 6,2016 at 11AM
