LUCY KUDELSKI – 2016

LUCY KUDELSKI
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of my dear mother Lucy Kudelski with her family by her side on December 12, 2016 at the age of 88.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Margaret Harris and her grandchildren Colin and Michelle (Dean) Prachnau; great grandchildren Brooke, Benjamin and Joshua. Lucy is also survived by her dear brother William Kudelski; her dear sister Joyce (Joe) Skibinski and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lucy was predeceased by her loving parents Nicholas and Maria Kudelski as well as brothers Peter (Rose), Michael (Sue), John (Hope) and Paul; sisters Jean (Roy) who was Lucy’s twin sister; Anne (Nicholas), Stephanie (John) and sister-in-law Rose Kudelski.
Born March 8, 1928 in Morveena, Manitoba. She was brought up in a loving family of 9 siblings by incredibly devoted parents.
Her kindness, her warmth, her gentleness could be felt to all who encountered her. Mom was an excellent and a very hard worker. She worked in Fisher Branch, Toronto and Winnipeg, always in the hospitality industry and loved what she was doing.
Cremation has taken place in keeping with Lucy’s wishes and burial will be at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Lions Place where she resided, also at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for the care and compassion shown to Lucy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
