Lucy Helen Schroeder – October 29th- 2017

October 29th- 2017
Lucy grew up in Lavington with a large family and always loved when everyone could get together for a celebration. Lucy loved to sit around and talk, she had stories about everything from her time living in a remote logging camp and float house, watching Vernon change to the ghosts on Learmouth always entertaining. Lucy had a hard and long battle the last two years with health issues but never stopped fighting. Lucy was a grandmother, mother and great friend and will be sadly missed. Lucy is survived by sons Trevor Jones (Linda), Mark Jones, daughter Cori Beauregard (Kevin), daughter-in-law Michele Keserich, grandchildren Rachelle, Brianna, Christie, Courtney, Josh and Kayden. Lucy had a very special connection with her sister and best friend Polly. She loved all her siblings George, Peter, Irene and her lifelong friend Florence. The family would like to thank all the ICU Nurses and Dr’s for their support and care of Lucy. Thanks to Nicki, Wendy, Kevin and Susan for their extra support at this time and to Kathy for all the time spent with Lucy shopping, doing her hair and enjoying life. Enjoy running through the field of buttercups my friend. There will be a graveside service held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 4th at the Coldstream Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to follow at 9950 Springfield Rd, Lavington.
