Lucy Fitzpatrick – (December 13, 1919 – July 20, 2017)

FITZPATRICK, Lucy Mary (Austin) – ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS – Passed peacefully away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 surrounded by her family in her 98th year. Lu enjoyed her garden, her family and her friends. She always had a kind word for everyone, a wonderful sense of humour and a keen eye for fashion.
Lucy was predeceased by her parents Mary and Patrick Austin, her husband Leo, her infant daughter Beverly, her son Kevin, her brothers Leonard, Patrick and Stephen, her sister-in-law Marcelle Austin and her step son Richard.
Leaving to mourn and celebrate her long life are daughter and best friend Marilyn (David Coubrough), with whom she resided, sons Leonard (Jeanette), Gerard (Eleanor), Brendan (Anna), Wayne (Denise), John (Christine), Patrick (Donielle), Timothy (Lisa) and step son Leo (Sadie), 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, 5 nieces and 4 nephews, special niece Betty Young who visited her regularly, Lorraine Austin Rumney for her support, all the caregivers both past and present and her many friends. Special thanks to Dr. D. Gough for his care and many visits.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to a charitable organization of your choice.
