In her 93rd year, Lucienne ‘Lucy’ Desloges, passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on Saturday December 31st 2016 at Finlandia Nursing Home, Sudbury. Beloved wife of 67 years to Armand Desloges (predeceased February 2015). Loving daughter of Louis and Laura (Beauchemin) Tremblay, both predeceased. Was last surviving sibling of Emile (Lorraine, nee Trottier), Joseph (Yvette, nee Guilemette), Laurette (Richard Gamache),Therese (Herman Cyrenne), Léda (Aime Bertrand), Edwardina (Maurice Seguin), Jeanne (Alpha Ethier), and Cecile (Marcelin Henri).Loving mother of Dianne Paul (James) of Hamilton, Maurice Desloges (Karen) of Sudbury, Lise Tran (Terry) of Brampton, and Joanne Sabourin (William) of Brockville.Cherished ‘mamère’ of Geneviève (Patrick), Jonathan (Stephanie), Marianne (Hilton), Thomas (Marisa), Marissa (Matthew), Kevin (Alana), Lana (Kenji), Nathan, Shaun (Jena), Kristin (Nick), Geoffrey and great-grandmother of Lucy, Sienna, William and Sawyer. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.Lucy blessed our lives and she will be greatly missed.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Finlandia Nursing Home for their care to both Lucy and Armand Desloges. The family will receive friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury Saturday January 7th, 2017 from 10a.m. to 1p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Saturday January 7th at Ste-Anne des Pins Church at 1:30p.m. Donations in Lucienne’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s society or to Finlandia nursing home by cheque only.
