Obituary for Luc Baron
It is with great sadness that we need to announce the tragic and sudden passing of Luc Edmond Joseph Baron at the age of 27 years old from Kenora, Ontario. He leaves to mourn his mother and father Diane Desorcy (Baron) & Denis (Oscar) Belisle, mother’s special friend Andy, grandmother Irene Baron (Sabot) and grandfather Charles Belisle (Delores). He is also survived by sister Shannon, brothers Danny (Liz), and Chris as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and an abundance of friends. Luc was predeceased by his grandmother Claudette Belisle in December 2008, grandfather Frank Baron in January 2015, Uncles Louis Baron in January 2008 and Denis (Chico) Baron in July 2016.
Luc was a caring and loveable young man that travelled and made his home in BC, Alberta, and several locations in Manitoba including Hecla Island until he found his happy place in Kenora, Ontario. No matter the direction the wind blew and what direction the lakes’ currents would flow, Luc would meet a stranger and become life time friends. With his beautiful blue eyes, dirty blond hair and humorous but yet loving and gentle personality, it was impossible to not instantly love him.
We will all cherish his artistic capabilities and passion for nature. He spent some of his free time gathering drift wood by the lakes and bring them home to admire. Others would call it just piece of wood but to him it was gold. Besides his gold he gathered rocks and any memorabilia relating to giraffes. Another pass time hobby he possessed was photography. When a camera came out , you can rest assured Luc was not far. Not only was he a handsome young devil to model but his photo senses brought out beautiful photos of what nature meant to him. His short story writing usually filled out the rest of his precious time and whether the stories was a page or one sentence in length, they were always written with wisdom and at times humour. Many of could not wait to read what his talented and imaginative mind would produce next.
Luc, your life was taken too early from us but we will all keep warm in our hearts the joy, laughter and love that you so earnestly shared with everyone you knew. We will miss you as our dear son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. God needed you to share your passion in heaven and when he calls upon us, we will meet again and enjoy our time together.
Celebration of Luc’s life was held on August 26, 2017 organized by his special family from Casey’s Inn in Kenora, On. The second Celebration of Luc’s life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Young at Hearts Club in Richer, Manitoba. Cremation has taken place and the ashes will be laid by the immediate family at a later date.
Love you my dear nephew-Auntie Anita Belisle-Funk.
