Loyal passed away peacefully in Duncan on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at the age of 85. He was born in Bigger Saskatchewan on March 23, 1932, moving to Victoria BC as a teenager. Loyal lived and worked in Victoria and Vancouver. Loyal is predeceased by his wife Hazel, his brother Norm and sisters Lovurn Thomas and Phillis Hudson. Loyal is survived by his daughter Beverley (Edward) Kissinger and grandchildren Maryanne and Michael, his brothers Warren (Lorraine) and Glen (Donna); sister Mildred Barker. The family wishes to thank the Hospital Staff at 2 South of the Cowichan District Hospital for their wonderful care in the last two weeks of his life and the Staff and Residents at Acacia Ty Mawr for their kindness and support.
A Celebration of his Life is being held at Saanich Baptist Church, 4347 Wilkinson Road in Victoria BC, on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 1 p.m.
