Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Carole Lorraine Burton, aged 66 years was predeceased by her parents, Hilda and Wilbert Hiscock and leaves to mourn her devoted Husband of 48 years, Carl; son, Scott (Tammy and her sons, Eric and Alex); daughter, Debbie (John) and her treasured grandchildren, Daniel, Brianna and Kalea. Lorraine also leaves her brother, Wayne (Jean); sister, Sandra; special friend and sister-in-law, Margaret Burton; uncle, Melvin; nieces and nephews, Paul, Glenn, Kelly, Derek, Michelle, Joanne and Nicole as well as a large circle of supportive relatives and friends including those acquired during her 30 years with Scouts Canada. The family wishes to extend thanks to her medical team including, ambulatory care and the staff of 7W at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital with special thanks to Dr. Michael Furlong. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, November 10, 2017 at a time to be announced from Corpus Christi Church. Interment will follow at Kilbride RC Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Lorraine’s memory may be made to the Honour House Society or to St. Vincent de Paul, Corpus Christi Parish.
