1930-2017
Loretta passed away peacefully in
the presence of her family at the Long Term Care Centre in Corner
Brook on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Left to
mourn with fond and loving memories her three children, Harrison
(Dianne), Gary (Trish) and Gail. Seven grandchildren, thirteen great
grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Sisters
Eileen (Rex) Pam (Ed), Sister-in-laws, Lucy, Maureen, Geraldine,
Shirley (Dennis), Margaret, Brother-in-laws, Nathaniel (Eva) , Joe
Hatcher along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and
friends.
Loretta was predeceased by her husband Harold Samuel Payne,
parents Douglas and Eliza Payne, Uncle Henry and Aunt Minnie Payne who
raised her up. Father-in-law Alexander and Mother-in-law Agnes,
Sister-in-laws Mavis, Marina, Brother-in-laws
Gordon, Clifford, Karl, Joseph Gaslard, Harry Woodman and also
Son-in-laws Vernon Payne and Jack Brake.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to
the staff at Long Term Care in Corner Brook. Family and friends may
visit St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Cow Head on
Thursday, February 2nd from 2-4 pm and
7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at St.
Mary’s Anglican Church on Friday, February
3rd at 2 pm with Reverend Canon Terry Rose
officiating with cremation to follow. Friends may sign the
