Lois Irene Lee was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully on December 20, 2017 in Trail, BC.
Lois is predeceased by her son Keith, husband Colin and her son in law Dale.
She is survived by her children Dianne and Howard (Alida), her grandchildren; Trevor (Jowita) Lee, Nicole (Rob) Stroud, Cynthia (Kelsey) Lee and by her 6 great grandchildren.
Lois was proud to be a long time member of St. Paul’s United church in Fruitvale where she was also a member of the UCW and volunteered for many years with the St. Paul’s Thrift Shop in Fruitvale. She raised funds for the Terry Fox foundation for many years- right up until when was 87 years of age. Most days between 2 and 4pm you would find Lois walking out to visit friends who had become housebound. Lois loved her garden and cherished her time spent with her grandchildren- especially pancake morning!
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Paul’s United Church in Fruitvale; interment to follow at Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements. You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.
The family would like to thank the staff of Rosewood Village for their care and compassion of Mom.
