Obituary of Lloyd Green
Passed suddenly but peacefully away at his residence on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, Lloyd Green of Carbonear, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents: Joseph and Elizabeth; special aunt: Clara Belle Green; brother-in-law: Alex Penney. Leaving to mourn, wife of 50 years: Judy; two daughters: Elizabeth (Greg) Earle, Carbonear and Winnie (Terry) Neil, Bryant’s Cove; two sons: Kenneth (Marilyn), Salmon Cove and James (Angie), Carbonear; six grandchildren: Matthew (Tiffany), Andrew (Sara), Justin (Melissa), Sara, Ryan (Chelsea), and Connor; two great-grandchildren: Claire and Ethan; one brother: Ross (Betty) Green, Harbour Grace; three sisters: Ada (Neville) Pike, Harbour Grace, Martha Penney, Wabush, and Winnie (Mike) George, Carbonear; special friend: Clyde Butt, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House, P.O. Box 28091, St. John’s, NL, A1B 1X0 or to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre, 300 Prince Phillip Drive, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3V6.
