Obituary for Lloydette Fern Copland (Greentree)
COPLAND, Lloydette Fern – It is with broken hearts that the family of Lloydette Copland announces her peaceful passing at the Welland Hospital on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in her 75th year. Her family takes comfort knowing that she is no longer in pain and is now reunited with her first husband Robert Copland, her son Brent, her infant daughter Lloydette and her parents Reginald and Winifred Greentree. She is survived by her cherished children; her sons Chris Copland (Paula), Bruce Copland (Cheryl) and her daughter and best friend Nicole Copland-Chaisson. She will be forever missed by her grandchildren Corrine, Brittany, Courtney, Caitlin, Breanne, Christopher, Katherine, Brent, Kayla, Brock, Trinity, Felicity and by her great-grandchildren Conner, Aiden, Ollan, Karma, Lyrik, Tristan, Maddix and Emmet. Lloydette was blessed to have Darryl journey with her through her illness and his unwavering care and support will never be forgotten. Her family would also like to thank JoAnne for always being there to lend a helping hand.
Lloydette loved her family with all her heart; she always had a smile on her face in every circumstance. She was blessed with a large heart that took care of her family, friends, and many others long before she worried about herself. She enjoyed working as a Health Care Aide at Versa Care, always having a sense of helping others. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Saturday, October 21st from 1-3 p.m. A service to celebrate Lloydette’s life will follow in the Cudney Chapel beginning at 3 p.m.
