Lloyd Laverne Baltzer – 71, of Meadowvale,
Annapolis County, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 in the
Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, he was a son of
the late Truman and Beatrice (Legere) Baltzer. He was employed with
ACA Poultry for 21 years until retirement. Lloyd loved horses, camping
and was a huge John Wayne fan. He was always trying to make people
laugh. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria (Pelton); four
children, Tammie (Roland) Lloyd, Cambridge; Tim Baltzer (Cassandra
Taylor), Greenwood; Anthony Baltzer (Wanda Gillis), Greenwood; and
Jillian Baltzer (Terry Foster), Aylesford; three sisters, Betty,
Shirley and Terri; two brothers, Mac and Davey; nine grandchildren;
one great granddaughter. He was predeceased by a sister, Pauline; two
brothers, Gerald “Buck” and George. Cremation has taken
place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service
will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 in the White
Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Donald Rafuse officiating.
Burial will take place at a later date in the Berwick Cemetery.
Donations in memory may be made to Prostate Cancer Canada Atlantic.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral
Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
