Lloyd J. MacLeod

MacLEOD LLOYD – Unexpectedly at the George Dumont Hospital in
Moncton, NB on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017; Lloyd James MacLeod,
husband of the late Maxine (Townsend) Reynolds. Born in Cape North,
Cape Breton, NS; he is the son of the late Roderick Sinclair &
Mary Grace (Royale) MacLeod.
Lloyd was known to his family and friends as a true hardworker,
never being able to sit still. He had a great love for animals, for
the outdoors fishing and playing poker “Texas Hold em”
with his friends. He did work with the Pontiac Lodge in northern
Quebec as a guide and a trapper. For many years Lloyd worked as a
mechanic in the auto industry.
As a veteran and in service to his country he served in
Korea.
Lloyd is survived by his son Kevin Gene and his wife Celia of St
Stephen, NB; his granddaughter Abigail Rose MacLeod, at home,
brothers, Gordon Lewis and Collie Roy, Margaret Isabell, Myrtle
Lewis, and Mary Anabelle.
Lloyd was predeceased by brothers John Angus, William Russell,
Melvin William, Sinclair Royal, Dennis Gerald, twins Collie Maurice
and Roderick Hector and a sister Marie Audrey.
By Lloyds’ request cremation will take place. Friends are
welcome to attend a memorial service in celebration of his life to be
held on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of
Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506
