BEERSVILLE, NB – Lloyd Flanagan 78, of Beersville,
NB passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Dr.
Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Sunday,
February 12, 2017. Born in Targettville, he was the son of
the late Edward Flanagan and Kathleen (Donaher) Flanagan.
Before retiring, Lloyd was employed as a woodsman and mechanic for
many years.
Lloyd will be sadly missed by his mother, Kathleen Flanagan
of Beersville; his wife, Edna Flanagan of Beersville; four daughters,
Juanita Hebert (Robert) of Rexton, Edith Carter of Bass River, Crystal
Stewart (David) of Moncton, Vickie Flanagan (Justin) of Riverview; two
sons, Billy Flanagan (Juliette) of Rexton, Ray Kaye of Beersville;
eight grandchildren, Ryan, Miranda, Sarah, Rebecca, Derek, Kimberly,
Cobey and Mason.
Lloyd is also survived by one sister, Sylvia Thompson of
Beersville; two brothers, Donald (Kim) of Chipman, Howard (Imelda) of
Beersville and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9, Friday at 1:00
pm until time of the funeral. A celebration of
Lloyd’s life will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at
2:00 pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel,
Richibucto. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
