Ritchie, Lindsay, passed away on Thursday December 21, 2017 at the Southampton Hospital. Lindsay Narissa Ritchie “O’Zhaashkwaa Giizhgo Kwe” of Saugeen First Nation at the age of 36. Lindsay will be sadly missed by her spouse Jeremy Mitchell. Dear Mother of Paydon and Darius. Daughter of Theresa Root and Steve Ritchie. Sister to Stacey Ritchie and Jennifer Roote. Lindsay will be remembered by her aunts, uncles, and all of her extended family. Predeceased by her grandparents, Fred & Viola Ritchie and Maybel & Crawford Root, by her dear friends, Cavin “Sam” & Adrian Ritchie, by her aunt Liz Moore Ritchie and by her uncle Wyatt Ritchie. Visitation will be held at the home of Theresa Root 926 French Bay Rd, Saugeen First Nation on Wednesday December 27, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. A Service to Celebrate the life of Lindsay Ritchie will be held at the James Mason Memorial Centre, Saugeen First Nation on Friday at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Building Healthy Communities through Saugeen First Nation.
