Obituary of Linda Smith
At Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, Mrs. Linda Smith of Wingham, age 69 years. Beloved wife of Joseph Smith of Wingham. Cherished mother of Phillip & Heather-Lyn Smith of Wingham, Kevin & Julie Smith of Oakville, Colleen & Julius Westendorp of Kitchener and Pamela Smith and her fiancé Joe Hadley of Wingham. Adored grandmother of Jacob, Connor, Coleson, Hunter, Joseph, Benjamin, Thomas, Michelle, Noah, Corrie-Lynn, Josephine and Nathan. Sister of Diane & Terry, Patricia & Dale, Beverly & Brian, and Ross & Joanne. Sister-in-law of Ann, Carol & Bill, Cora & Ron, Pauline & Bill and Kae. Predeceased by her parents James & Evelyn Casemore, step-father Reverend John Neilson, brothers-in-law Heathe Thynne, Adam Smith, Ross Alcock, Ed Steinbach and Bud Hicks and sister-in-law Doreen Stewart and her husband Deb.
Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Monday at 11:00 am. Reverend Larry Skinner and Reverend Carel Grundlingh officiating. Interment in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery (McCutcheon Cemetery), Brussels.
Memorial donations to London Guest Home or St.Andrew’s Presbyterian Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
