Obituary for Linda Marie Briley
Linda was born on January 23, 1957 in Wilkie, Saskatchewan. She was the fourth child of Louis and Barbara Elder. Linda attended school in Unity, Saskatchewan and met the love of her life, Everett, in Grade 9.
They married on May 22, 1976, shortly after high school. After living for a year in Calgary, Alberta they returned to the Briley family farm to build their life and raise a family together, first in Evesham, and then in Macklin from 1993 onward.
Linda had a long career in banking with CIBC and the Macklin Credit Union. Linda dearly loved and was much loved in return by her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and closest friends, tending to her flowers and garden, and traveling. She will be dearly missed.
Linda will be forever remembered by her husband Everett, son Tyler (Amy), daughter Leslie (John), and son Jason; grandchildren Rose, Jacob and Nate; siblings Sharon Maurer, Ken (Val) Elder, Rod (Liz) Elder, and Kevin Elder; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Louis and Barbara Elder, daughter Krista, and several aunts and uncles.
