(née Antoine)
Born June 12th, 1941 in Parry Sound, Ontario
Passed away November 25th, 2017
at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, Ontario.
Predeceased by her husband Vilho Jokinen in 2002. Dear friend of Don Boulton of Capreol. Loving mother of Tessie (Ron Knight), Brenda (Darryl Harris) of Ottawa, Ronald (Liane), Donald of Capreol and Vallerie (Bruce Nykyforak) of Elliot Lake. Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by grandchildren Kyla Jokinen & Matthew Kesek, her parents Norman & Helen Antoine and siblings Justine & Harold. Survived by her sisters Norma (Percy Wilbur) & Lavigna (Andy Loyer) and brother Jeff (Lucy) She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. A Celebration of her life will be held on
Friday, December 1st, 2017 from 11am to 2pm at Valley East Lion’s Club (4611 St. Joseph, Hanmer). Donations to the Valley East Food Bank would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
