Obituary of Lillian Neilly
Passed away peacefully with family at her side at St. Mary’s Hospital November 24, 2017, age 85 years. Predeceased by her husband John Neilly 38 years ago on November 12, 1979. Mother of Ronald, Robert and Brenda (Gino). Loving Grandma to Marianne, Allan (Amanda), Shane, John (Kim), Amanda (Andrew), Shantel, and Cody. Loving Great Grandmother to Kyla, Amber, Lexie, Destiny, Phoneix, Brynnen, Ryland and Keegan. Survived by her brother Grant Thomas, and her sister Barbara Giilck. Also survived by her brother-in-law Harry and sister-in-law Mary Thomas. Lillian will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Clara Thomas (nee Shantz) her brothers Edward (in infancy), Milton, Walter, Russell, Kenneth, Billy (in infancy) her sisters Mary Lou Falkenstern and Clara (in infancy). Her mother-in-law Euphemia Neilly.
Special thanks to the Emergency Department at St. Mary’s Hospital for all the care and compassion given to Lillian.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Lillian with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday November 27 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Kitchener. Reception to be held in the Fireside Room of the Funeral Home.
