1931-2017
It is with heavy hearts the family of Lillian (Milley) Love,
wife of the late Murray H. Love, announce her passing, which occurred
at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, March 3, 2017. Born in
Burnt Point, NFLD on October 22, 1931, she was a daughter of the late
Francis and Mary Louise (Goodwin) Milley.
Lillian will be forever missed by her children: Sandra
Love-Godin (Norman), Gail Sloan-Malcolm (Edward), Ronnie, Raymond and
James (Lena) Love, all of Saint John, and Barbara Rasch (Danny), of
Alberta; siblings: Raymond Milley (Pearl), of NFLD, Carson Milley
(Emily), of ON; and Phyllis Ash, of NFLD; 12 grandchildren, several
great grandchildren, special great grandson Liam, special friend
Gerald Hopey and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased
by her daughter Glenna Davis, sisters: Myrtle Pottle, Ethel Wicks,
Elsie Jones and Leona Churchill, and brothers: Wally and Herbie, and a
grandchild.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation
on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. The funeral
service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday,
March 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place at Ocean View
Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of
Lillian may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart
& Stroke Foundation of NB.
