1932-2017
Lillian Martin of Durham Bridge, NB, formerly of Perth-Andover, passed
away peacefully at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on March 1,
2017.
Lillian was born in St-Leonard, NB on September 7, 1932. She was the
daughter of the late Raymond and Yvonne (Clavet) Ruest. Lillian leaves
behind her daughters Sadie Bulmer (Alfred of Durham Bridge, NB, Louise
Toner (Danny) of Beaconsfield, NB, Laura Martin of Fredericton; her
sons Paul Martin (Jean) of Centerville, Albert Martin (Rachel) of Lac
la Biche, AB, Louis Martin of Greenfield, NB, David Martin (Pauline)
of Valhalla Center, AB, Lee Martin of Fredericton; 24 grandchildren,
29 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter; her
half-brother Maurice Ruest (Charlotte) of Grand Falls.
Lillian was predeceased by her parents; her husband Leo Martin; her
grandson Elwood Martin; her sister Donetta Proulx; her brothers Romeo
and Patrick Ruest; nephews Joey and Robert Ruest.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Friday 6-8 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11 am from
St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Father Gilbert Doddatto will
celebrate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later
date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to St. Mary of the Angels
Catholic Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be
appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover.
