It is with great sadness the
family wishes to announce the passing of Mrs. Lillian M. Gray, wife of
the late Leo Gray, which occurred at the Robert L. Knowles Veterans
Unit, Bathurst on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the age of
85.
Born in Bathurst, she was the
daughter of the late Leon and Celine (Gagnon)
Thibodeau.
Lillian was a lifetime member
of the Ladies Auxiliary, Herman J Good V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian
Legion, Bathurst.
She is survived
by:
Two sons: Stephen
(Karen) of South Tetagouche and Kevin (Christine Imhoff) of Edmonton,
AB.
One daughter:
Darlene Guitard (Robert) of
Bathurst.
Five grandchildren:
Christopher, Cory, Kyle, Cody and
Tyson.
Two
great-grandchildren: Nathan and
Elisha.
Three brothers:
Lloyd Thibodeau (Shirley), Kenneth Thibodeau (Diane) and Allen
Thibodeau (Annette) all of
Bathurst.
Four sisters: Irene
Langlais (Clifford), Elvira Lavigne (Clarence), Carol O’Neil
(Daniel “Jr.”) and Doreen Black (Byard) all of
Bathurst.
She was predeceased by three
sisters, Thelma, Barbara, Anne-Marie “Tina” and a brother
Patrick.
There will be no visitation at
the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. from the Sacred
Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St, Bathurst. Donations in
memory of Lillian may be made to the Robert L. Knowles Veterans Unit,
Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or a charity
of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the
care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com).
