Levean Casimir Francis Charles

Peacefully at his home in Whitney, surrounded by his family, on Friday, May 12, 2017. Charles Levean, age 82, was the beloved husband of Marguerite (Bissonnette) Levean. Loved father of Terry (Lori) of Madawaska, Marcel (Mical) of Belleville, Bonna (Larry) of Lake St. Peter, Lori (Ron) of Brighton and Angela (Peter) of Barry’s Bay. Cherished Poppa to 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Greatly missed by his sister Gennaline (Jack Kuiack), brothers Pat (Pam), Gilbert (Kathy) and Arthur (Cecile) and sister-in-law Lana. Brother-in-law to Terry (Marg), Camilla (Farow) and Eugene. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Genevieve (Luckasavitch) Levean, brothers John, Donald, Doug and his granddaughter Tamara. Predeceased also by his sisters-in-law Aleida and Thelma, and his brothers-in-law Arthur and Marcel. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Charles’ family will receive relatives and friends at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (10 Post St., Whitney) on Wednesday 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with Father Moses Nwosu presiding. Interment St. Martin of Tours Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Martin of Tours Building Fund, or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
