Obituary for Leslie Starman
On December 10, 2017, Leslie Vernon Starman of Blue Ridge, AB, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the age of 94 years.
Les will be sadly missed and forever in the hearts of his children, Dale (Lila) Starman, Gloria (Joe) Liwczak, Debbie Starman (Clarence Yaworski), Dwight (Lynn) Starman and Linda (Darrell) Bryson; grandchildren, Angel, Ken, Kevin, Rick, Kelly, Karli, Chance, Taylor, Tristan and Madison; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Predeceased by wife, Flora; parents, Charles and Julie Starman; brother, Peter; sisters Anna, Margaret and Velda.
Thank you to the staff of Mayerthorpe Extendicare and Whitecourt Homecare for the care and compassion.
A Funeral service will be held Friday, December 15 at 1:00 pm. at Blue Ridge Community Hall, Blue Ridge, AB. Reverend Deborah Springer officiating with interment in Blue Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
