Lesley Ann Blanchard
1955-2017
Blanchard– The death
occurred suddenly, at the Doctor’s Hospital, Nassau,
Bahamas, on Thursday, April 27, 2017, of Lesley Ann Blanchard of
Charlottetown, and formerly of Summerside, aged 61 years. Born in
Portsmouth, England, she is the daughter of Herbert and the late Hilda
(England) Leverett. Survived by her husband Ronnie Blanchard; children
Rodney (Erin), Fredericton, NB; and Marc (Jana), Cornwall, PE;
grandchildren Hailey, Kiersten, Brandyn and Keegan; brother Gary
(Dianne), Edmonton, AB; brothers and sisters-in-law Ivan (Jean),
Eileen (Brian), David (Ethel), Reggie (Bet), Nelson (Sharon), Thelma
and Michael (Donna); and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by her mother-in-law Lucy Mugridge; father-in-law Hubert Blanchard;
brother-in-law Wayne Blanchard; step-father-in-law Alfred Mugridge;
nieces Jennifer Lee Blanchard, Rylee Faith Blanchard DesRoche; and by
a nephew Bobby Blanchard. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home,
Summerside, until Friday, then to St. Paul’s Church,
Summerside, for funeral mass at 1:30 p.m. Interment in St.
Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Thursday from
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the IWK Grace Health Centre
Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
