Petit-Rocher, NB – Mrs.
Léonie Chiasson, wife of the late Ernest Chiasson, of
Petit-Rocher, passed away on Wednesday March 22, 2017, at the Chaleur
Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of
89.
Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the
daughter of the late Nicolas and Anastesie (Doucet)
Godin.
She worked for Bell Canada for over 40
years in Toronto.
She is survived by two brothers: George
Godin (Monique) and Jean-Cléo Godin (Michelle) both of
Montreal, Que.; several nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers and
sisters: Eveline, Hypolite, Henri, Lionel, Rita, Wilbrod,
Thérèse, Cécile, Hedwidge, Sylvio and
André.
There will be no visitation at the
Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from
St-Polycarpe Church, Petit-Rocher, at a date and time to be
announced.
Donations in memory of Léonie
may be made to the St-Polycarpe Church or a favorite
