Leonard “Burton” Theriault
1944-2017
The passing of Leonard “Burton” Theriault occurred
unexpectedly at his residence in Beaver Harbour NB on May 6, 2017.
Born in Beaver Harbour on August 10, 1944, he was a son of the late
Leonard and Enid (Eldridge) Theriault. Burton is survived by one son:
John (Donna) Theriault of Blacks Harbour NB; two daughters: Laurie
(Tony) of Victoria BC and Mary Anne (Jason) of Blacks Harbour NB; four
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters: Rosalind (Lloyd)
Foster of St. George NB and Lenora Lomax of Lepreau NB, several
nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burton enjoyed the simple things in life like beachcombing and
fishing. He enjoyed collecting old bottles and loved his best friend
and companion, his dog, Coco. He was a member of the Ramrodders and
the Black Powder Gun Club Inc.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB. A graveside service will be held at the
Christ Church (Anglican) Cemetery, Pennfield NB at a later date. In
Burton’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated by the family.
