At Palmerston & District Hospital on Saturday, November 25, 2017, Leonard Benjamin Wightman of Palmerston, in his 85th year. Husband of the late Ruth M. (Miller) Wightman. Father of David Wightman of Palmerston, Duane and Denise Wightman of Drayton, Dale and Sarah Wightman of Denver, Colorado, Joy and Tony Disanto of Mississauga, and Karen Wightman of Toronto. Grandfather of Lindsay and Mark Rennie of Tillsonburg, Ryen Wightman and Brandy Swain of Elora, Murray and Lauren Wightman of Denver, Michaela Wightman of Denver, Julene Disanto and Benjamin Isherwood of Guelph, Luke Disanto of Mississauga, and Jacob Disanto of Mississauga. Great-grandfather of Paisley Rennie, Lilah Rennie, Gavan Mask, Ashley Mask, and Kason Wightman. Brother of Joy and Ron Lawrence of South Carolina, and Eila McLaughlin of Harriston.
Predeceased by brother Ray Wightman and infant brother John Wightman.
Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Clifford Community Church on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment in Clifford Cemetery, Clifford. Memorial donations to Hope Valley Day Camp would be appreciated.
