VALLÉE, Léo Richard – Léo Vallée passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday October 24, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Pauline Vallée (née Larose). Loving father of Hélène Vallée (Kenny Morrow), Claire (Michel) Pagé, and Richard (Joanne) Vallée. Proud grandfather of Sophie, Francois, Melina, Alain and Mario, Jeremy and John Morrow. Great grandfather of 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents John and Régina Vallée. He is survived by his sisters Rita Vallée and Evelyn (Mort) Belmore and by his brother Cyril (Kathleen) Vallée. He was predeceased by his sister Reina Leduc and brothers Victor, Rolland (Yolande) and Lucien. Léo worked at the Canadian Tire store in Cornwall for 51 years. Resting at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario where visitation will be held on Thursday October 26th, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Thérèse-de-Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 1304 Lisieux St, Cornwall on Friday, October 27th, at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. If so desired, contributions in memory of Léo (payable by cheque only), may be made to the Le Club des Aînés de St. Thérèse-de-Lisieux.
