Obituary
Lenore Mary Ericksen, 67, of Edmonton, passed away on February 17, 2017 in Edmonton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Rio Terrace Moravian Church, 15108 76 Avenue NW with Pastors James Lavoy and Annabelle Wallace, officiating.
Lenore was born to Andy and Mary Ericksen on June 8, 1949, in Edmonton.
Lenore is preceded in death by her parents Andreas (Andy) B. Ericksen and Mary B. Ericksen (nee Traptow). Lenore is survived by her brother Grant Ericksen, and his family including his partner Donna Ludvigsen; nephew Christopher Ericksen (Anita); grandnephew Brice Ericksen; niece Kari Wilson (Tom) grandnephews Skyler, Griffin and Wyatt; niece Anne Brit Ericksen with grandnephews Keegan Ericksen and Andreas Carter. She is also survived by her sister Karen Ann Gibbs (Robert) and niece Leah Betker (Ryan) with grandniece Cora Betker; grandnephew Evan Betker; and niece Carmen Allen (Carl) with grandnephews Issac and William, and grandniece Anja.
Aunty Nonnie will be missed by her family and friends. She demonstrated courageous perseverance in the face of health challenges. She was a wonderful friend who was cheerful, generous and caring. She epitomized style. She was always beautifully clothed, coiffed and bejeweled. We will all remember her gingerbread cookies and her cheerful smile.
