It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lawrence Geoffrey
Dutcher of Saint John announce his passing on October 6, 2017 at the
age of 89. Born in Bay du Vin, Northumberland County on August 27,

Dutcher.
Lawrence is survived by his daughters, Linda (Tom) Hachey,
Colleen (Wayne) Snow, Deborah (Mike) Webber and Lori (Todd) Kempster;
sons, Michael (Colleen) Dutcher and Jeffrey Dutcher; as well as his 11
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Donna Dutcher and
longtime companion, Beatrice Swallow. Lawrence was the sole remaining
sibling of brothers, Henry Dutcher, Sylvanus Dutcher, Arnold Dutcher
and sisters, Lyna Maguire, Ethel Dykeman and Mildred
Flemming.
Our family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the
staff of the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home who had attended
to his care and wellbeing. For this we are grateful.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
Brenan’s Funeral Home,

Lawrence’s wishes there will be no visitation. He will be
laid to rest at St. Joseph’s Cemetery following a private
