Laurie Maillet
1923-2017
Laurie Maillet, 94, of Foyer Saint-Antoine, Saint-Antoine and formerly
of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday
December 19, 2017. He was married to Marie Bastarache. Born in
Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Léonide and the late
Virginie (Cormier) Maillet.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Marie (Bastarache) Maillet of
Foyer Saint-Antoine, his six children; Cécile Maillet,
Bernadette Dyer (Wayne), Jeannine Maillet-LeBlanc (Bernard), Denis
(Diane), Charles (Diane) and Marc (Nathalie) of Bouctouche, his
fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He also leaves
to mourn his sister Antonine Maillet of Montreal as well as several
nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by six sisters; Anna, Thérèse, Sr
Jeanne, Cécile, Claudette and Gabrielle and two brothers;
Lionel and Father Achille.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation at the
funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman
Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Friday December 22, 2017 at 7:00 pm
with interment in the parish Cemetery.

Home, Bouctouche.
