Obituary for Laurence Lacroix (Leblanc)
Born on November 24, 1919, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2017 at the age of 98, surrounded by her loving family. She joins her wonderful husband of 56 years, Leonard who died in 1998 and her caring daughter Christine who died in August 2017. Laurence was the oldest of eleven children and family was always most important to her and she spent her life caring for them. She is survived by five children, Lianne (Ron Fehr) of Kelowna, BC., Rachel of Lac des Iles, Quebec, Philip of Cardinal, ON., Maurice of Gatineau, QC., and Francine (Roger Bedard) of Gatineau, QC. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was very close to her surviving sisters: Sr. Rachelle Leblanc of Ottawa, Eleanore Rochon of North Bay, ON and Doreen Adam of Pembroke, ON. Many thanks to the caregivers of New Orchard Lodge who took such good care of her these last few years. A memorial mass will be held in Lapasse, ON at a later date. Donations in her memory may be sent to the Dementia Society.
