It is with overwhelming sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful Lauren. Forever blessed by her birth and her love are parents Rosaire and Tammy Bondy. A precious caring big sister of Nicole. La petite fille spéciale de mémé Aline et le feu pépé Ernest (2000) Bondy. Cherished granddaughter of Margaret Whitehead, Ken and Jeannie Whitehead. Loving niece of Jay, Mitch (Suzanne), Marc (Mary), Louis, Denise (Chris Meloche), Ben, Angela (Marc Dyke), and godparents Carla and Rob Brown. She will be sadly missed by her many cousins.
Lauren’s huge heart and smile touched everyone that met her. Although her 4 year battle with cancer was difficult, Lauren kept her “Faith throughout the Fight”. She always remained positive and selfless. Lauren taught us how to live life to the very fullest, she reminded us every day to see the good in everyone and never take a moment for granted. She was a true inspiration and hero to her family. Lauren enjoyed swimming, cheerleading, playing volleyball, bonfires, hangouts with friends, family game nights and family trips to Florida. She was an excellent student and will be sadly missed by her friends and classmates from Mgr. A. Caron and E.J. Lajeunesse.
Thank you to Fr. Dwayne for your blessings. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who have been a part of “Lauren’s team”, especially Dr. Zorzi and Julie from LHSC, Ursula at Met, and Annie from St. Elizabeth. A very special thank you to Dr. Bergeron, Marie, and Brianne from Hospice, who just 1 year ago came into our lives at the perfect time. To all our family and friends throughout Lauren’s journey, we thank you for your continued support and prayers. We love you.
We ask that you please email laurenstories@yahoo.com to share with our family a favourite moment, message or story in which Lauren touched your life.
