Obituary of Laura Oulton
OULTON, Laura Ann
(nee Cheam)
April 25, 1969 – October 30, 2017
Laura passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Georgetown Hospital, on Monday October 30, 2017 at the age of 48 after a courageous 2 year battle with Cancer.
Beloved wife of Dave and proud and loving Mother of Evan and Shannon. Laura is the daughter of Robert (Bob) Cheam and the late Pamela Cheam of Montreal. Laura is survived by her siblings Andy, Dave (Cathy), Geoffrey (Anna-Maria) and sister Kathy (Bernie). Laura was raised in Dorval, Quebec and was the youngest of 5. Her siblings played a large role in developing Laura into the loving and fun person she was. After attending College in the West Island, Laura and Dave moved together to Toronto in 1989 and eventually found Acton where they started a Family. Laura worked at Assured Natural in Acton for over 13 years. She enjoyed going to work every day due to the great coworkers, ownership and customers that surrounded her there. While we are deeply saddened and will greatly miss Laura, we have been blessed and privileged to have been enriched by her kindness, humor and loving personality in our lives. Cremation has taken place. At a later date, a burial service for immediate family will take place followed by a celebration of life in Laura’s style for family and friends. In her memory, contributions to the Georgetown Hospital or Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills would be appreciated.
