Laura Beatrice Slade (nee Jessome)
December 4, 1938 – September 13, 2017
Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital, on Wednesday September 13, 2017, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Ray. Devoted mother of Diane, Carolyn Ellis (Larry). Loving grandmother of Jamie Lynn Slade, Patrick Ellis (Joelle), and Nicholas Ellis. Sister to Betty Bragg (George), pre-deceased by John, Louis, Danny, and Jimmy. Laura will be missed by her close niece Cindy Cook (Jim), and by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family wish to thank the wonderful staff at Northumberland Hills Hospital for their care and compassion.
Visitation will take place at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg, on Saturday September 16, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. with a service to follow at 12 noon. Interment Cobourg Union Cemetery.
