It is with great sadness that the family of Laughlan Merle
Cripps, age 82, of Lower Cove, NB, announces his death which occurred
on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex,
NB. He was born in Ratter Corner, NB, on February 27, 1935,
a son of the late Merle and Alena (MacKinnon) Cripps.
Laughlan is survived by his loving children: Cindy Kelly and
her husband John of AB, Mark Cripps and his wife Karen Gray of
Midland, NB, Joy Cripps and her husband Patrick Sullivan of
Drury’s Cove, NB, Bruce Cripps and his wife Janet of
Drury’s Cove, NB, and Colin Cripps of AB; grandchildren:
Shannon Kimball, Devon Cripps, Donovan Cripps, Maggie Gray, Riley
Sullivan, Kristen Mason and Ashley Munro; great grandchildren: Lauren
Kimball, Travis Kimball, Meadow Mason, Owen Mason and Olivia Mason;
sisters: Emily Kilpatrick and her husband Leslie of Upham, NB and Anne
Richard of Hampton, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides
his parents, Laughlan was predeceased by his loving wife Katherine
Middleton; sister Shirley Caron; brother Richard Cripps; and
brother-in-law Ralph Richard.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sussex Select Community
Funeral Home (506-433-2133), 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB, where
visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017, from 4 to 7 PM.
The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at
11:00AM from Sussex Select Community Chapel. Interment will take place
at a later date.
Donations in memory of Laughlan may be made to the memorial
of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family
and donations may be made through SussexFH.com
