LIPPERT: Unexpectedly, while doing what he loved the most, on Thursday, December 7, 2017, Larry “Swamper” Michael Lippert, of Sarnia, formerly of Crediton, age 58. Beloved companion of Nancy (Smith) Richards. Forever loved son of Jeannette Wales of Exeter. Dear brother of Lynda Heywood and Lisa Lippert both of Exeter and brother-in-law of Henry and Patti Smith of Brampton, Greg and Kris Smith of St. Catharines, Jane and Kevin Armstrong of Iron Bridge. Larry will be missed by Nancy’s children Sam and Alex Richards and his mother and father-in-law Earl and Rita (Ingram) Smith of Iron Bridge. Fondly remembered by his canine companions Bella and the late Piper (2013). Also remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his father Earl Lippert (2012) and step-father Ted Wales (2006). At Larry’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at the Crediton Community Centre on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m. with words of remembrance at 2 p.m. Swamper began his trucking career at the age of 18, working his entire 40+ year career with Earl Lippert Trucking. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Easter Seals or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
