Obituary for Larry Smith
Peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 15, 2017, Lawrence John Smith of Petrolia, died at the age of 65. Beloved husband to Alma Smith (nee VanGrimberghe) for 40 years. Loving dad to Julie (Scott) Lylander and Michael Smith. Proud grandpa to Jayden and Darren. Loved uncle to Gary and Susanne. Larry was a loving friend to Jeff and Jen Armstrong and Jerry and Marsha Dupuis. The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel, Dr. Combeen, and Dr. Yoshida for their excellent and compassionate care and the VHA team for their excellent homecare. Arrangements entrusted to Needham-Jay Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at Warwick Community Cemetery at a later date.
